arithmetic necessary to win at blackjack. The
scientifically devised Knock-Out count can be

casinos, Native American casinos, the Bahamas,
and on cruise ships. This second edition,

Professional Blackjack
This is one of
the best if not the very best book on blackjack
out on the market today. This book does not have
colorful stories but has all the information you
will need to get an edge at blackjack and win
money from the casinos consistently. The rest is
up to you (proper bankroll, camouflage, patience,
and discipline). This book will give you basic
strategy for six decks. It will teach you the
hi-lo and also the halves count (a 2 level
count). The book will tell you how much per hour
you are expected to win due to differing rules
when a specified hi lo bet scheme is used. There
are also chapters dealing with double exposure
and the over under side bet. There are also
charts for taking advantage of special rules
like 7-7-7 , 6-7-8 , or 5 or 6 card 21's paying
a bonus. Wong also discusses risk and includes
many charts including expected values for hands
and strategy changes for counts using the hi lo
and for using the halves count. This book has no
fluff it is packed with information. If you want
stories buy another book but if you want to win
money buy this one. This book has everything I
mentioned and more. A five star book definitely
worth more than the price.

Winning Casino Blackjack
for the Non-Counter
by Avery Cardoza
When I made my first trip to
Las Vegas over 10 years ago, I was lucky enough
to find this book in the bookstore, insightful
enough to buy it and terrified enough of losing
money to read it and put it into practice. Since
that time I've play tens of thousands of hands
of blackjack in casinos all over the Western
Hemisphere. I've also bought and read lots of
other books on Blackjack. This one is without
question the best. It gives good introductory
information on how to play winning blackjack. It
covers basic strategy, money management and
other fundamentals in a clear, concise way. He
explains the strategy in such a way that it's
easy to understand and REMEMBER. And he leaves
out a lot of the non-sense and self promotion
garbage you get in a lot of other books. Even
though I have a rather large library of
blackjack books now, I still find myself
throwing this one into my bag to read as a
refresher on the plane trip to Vegas.

Beat Multiple Deck
Blackjack by Marten Jensen
Having read
dozens of books on the subject of blackjack, I
found this one to be exactly what it is intended
to be... a guide for anyone who wants to beat
the multiple blackjack game. While it is a great
primer on the game for anyone who has never been
inside of a casino, it can also serve the more
experienced player as well. It does not offer
any anecdotal accounts of the author's
experiences at blackjack. It does not offer card
counting strategies at all. If you're an
experienced player who's looking to hone your
card counting skills, this book is not what
you're looking for. But even an experienced
player can benefit from all but the book's first
chapter which details rules, equipment and
blackjack terminology. It is probably the best
book I've come across covering basic strategy.
It not only shows you the correct basic strategy
to use based on the number of decks and house
rules, the author explains the "why", making it
easier for players of all levels to recall what
their correct play should be. It also offers a
formula for determining the house advantage on
the games that you may face by adding %'s of
house advantage rules and deducting player
advantage rules.
No other book tells the real
story of what the modern slot machine actually
is. All modern slots are computers. Other books
talk about the Random Number Generator as the
"mechanism" by which the slot machine program
"picks" the winning events. No other book,
however, tells the reader what the RNG actually
is, and how it really works, and why this is
important. No other book actually shows the
inner workings of the modern slot machine,
because no other author has been allowed to
publish this information. Royer's book is the
ONLY book that tells the truth of the reality of
the slot machines, including video slots, and
how and why they work the way they do, and how
to play them to win. This information is
EXCLUSIVE to Royer, and to this book.
Royer also shows the reader
which are the best slots, and why, as well as
how to find them in the actual casino, and how
to exploit them for profits. Because of Royer's
"insider" knowledge of not just the slots
themselves, but also of the casino's slot mix
floorplans and marketing strategies, Royer is
able to show the reader precisely what to look
for in the casinos to find just precisely where
the really good slots are, and why they are
there. Royer also explains where the "bad" slots
are, and why they are placed there. Royer shows
the reader how to tell the good from the bad,
and how to make this knowledge pay.

Hold'Em Poker for Advanced
Players
by David Sklansky, Mason Malmuth
Texas Hold ’em is
not an easy game to play well. To become an
expert you must balance many concepts, some of
which occasionally contradict each other. In
1988, the first edition appeared. Many ideas,
which were only known to a small, select group
of players, were made available to anyone who
was striving to become an expert, and the hold
’em explosion had begun. It is now a new
century, and the authors have again moved the
state of the art forward by adding over 100
pages of new material, including extensive
sections on "loose games," and "short-handed
games." Anyone who studies this text, is well
disciplined, and gets the proper experience
should become a significant winner. Some of the
other ideas discussed include play on the first
two cards, semi-bluffing, the free card,
inducing bluffs, staying with a draw, playing
when a pair flops, playing trash hands,
desperation bets, playing in wild games, reading
hands, and psychology.

High-Low-Split Poker,
Seven-Card Stud and Omaha Eight-or-better for
Advanced Players by Ray Zee, Mason Malmuth,
Lynne Loomis
High-Low-Split Poker,
Seven-Card Stud and Omaha Eight-or-Better For
Advanced Players by Ray Zee is the third book in
the "For Advanced Players" series. It is really
books 3 and 4 for two reasons. First, many of
the concepts are similar for both games. Second,
players mastering one game can easily make the
transition to the other.
Some of the ideas discussed in
the seven-card stud eight-or-better section
include starting hands, when an ace raises,
disguising your hand on third street, play on
fourth street, fifth street, sixth street,
seventh street, position, bluffing, staying to
the end, and scare cards. Some of the ideas
discussed in the Omaha eight-or-better section
include general concepts, position, low hands,
high hands, your starting hand, how to play your
hand, play on the flop, multiway versus short
handed play, scare cards, getting counterfeited,
and your playing style.

Guerrilla Gambling: How to
Beat the Casinos at Their Own Games! by Frank
Scoblete
Casino players looking to
educate themselves in the various casino games
need a book that is authoritative,
comprehendable, and enjoyable. "Guerrilla
Gambling" is the best book I have ever read that
fits the above three criteria. I have read many
books that try to cover the casino games. Some
are quite good, for example "The Idiot's Guide
to Casino Games" and the "Mensa Guide to Casino
Games." But neither one can really hold a candle
to Frank Scoblete's "Guerrilla Gambling." If you
are looking to build a solid foundation in all
the casino games and want to cut the house edge
to the minimum and reduce the casino's take
(these are not exactly the same concept as
Scoblete explains), then you must get this book.
The book also offers a very
comprehensive look at the casino comping system
and in that it is far better than other books
that discuss the subject including "Frugal
Gambler" and "Thrifty Gambling." Scoblete not
only explores the math of comps but he
thoroughly explores the psychology as well.
